Moon Poem

Another Moon Poem Defending its Territory

The moon,
in glowing silence,
controls the port,
submerging
the jagged reef
at high tide,
but showing its teeth
during the reciprocal age.

  1. A moon with teeth that it's not afraid to bare? Now, that's an image worth pondering--or shrinking from!

  7. I always loved the book, "High Tide in Tucson." Just the idea, of the hermit crab taking the times of the tides with him. I enjoyed your write.

  8. The moon keeps her distance for the moment, lets hope she doesn't play up in our lifetime to really show her teeth. Great food for thought Rob.
