Haven't participated in a while, but here a little one for the Poets United Midweek Motif. I have to admit, I've mostly been posting on instagram under @triboetry. It's good to be back here though.
Here's a short little one for Honey/bee:
I wonder
what the honey
will taste like
when it's made of
concrete dust
and metal rust.

A sobering thought, Rob.
ReplyDeleteOh that is a good question, and rather alarming.......
ReplyDeleteYes, it just seemed to need to be posed. Thanks!
DeleteIt won't taste sweet surely. Well put.
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see you back, Rob :)
definitely not, thank you.
DeleteSadly, the buildings' remnants will definitely outlast the bee population.
ReplyDeleteBleak work, but beautifully done. Salute.
You may be right, but hopefully not!
Deletestrange and sandy perhaps will be the taste but would it be edible? A good question relative to the many possibilities that may occur. Thought provoking, well expressed
ReplyDeleteProbably not edible, but some animals do eat sand and stone to improve digestion.
DeleteThought provoking. That is why we beekeepers plant flowers and gardens.
ReplyDeleteYes, or locate near a wildflower meadow. Thank you!
DeleteI imagine it would taste a bit gritty, don't you?
ReplyDeleteYes, but maybe this was more of a surreal question, asked in what appears to b on our horizon,
DeleteSuch a deeply philosophical take on the prompt! Inspired ❤️
ReplyDeleteI hope to never have to taste that concoction. Scary thought Rob
ReplyDeleteIt is, and I doubt we will ever taste this particular one.
DeleteSadly humans dont think they are animals and make a lot of mistakes perhaps the bees could help by stinging some of the useless humans that make a mess of other homans lives.
ReplyDeletePerhaps. Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteMay we never find out!
ReplyDeleteHopefully not.
DeleteWhat a wonderful flight - i hope we will still have flowers and trees
ReplyDeleteIf not, that will be the end. Thank you.
DeleteWell it's looking that way.
ReplyDeleteNot quite yet though. The bees may be gone before this happens. Thank you.
Deletesobering...
ReplyDeleteThank you, but yes.
