Foothills

Perhaps the fog should stay
and not reveal
the teeth of the mountain range,
a lying creature,
breathing shallow,
waiting on my path.

    This is just a little scary...makes me want to choose that road less traveled, I wouldn't want to meet that creature of which you speak!
