A Coast's Return

A Coast's Return

The vacuum
of the storm
drew all blood
to reveal
the teeming floor.
In the cyclic path,
the ocean
refills the basin
completely,
following the edges
of each island,
and contour.

-Robert L. Jackson III

  1. Like where you took the prompt..was watching Hurricane Irma on the news..incredible the way it works, toying with the sea.

  2. A fine metaphor of possibility--a good one if to overcome loss,a scary one if to continue ignorance and false truth. Pow!
